Stellar Astronomy Test 3

38 points    This third test covers the features of the Sun and thermonuclear fusion.

There will be 12 multiple-choice questions.

   There will be one diagram. The diagram will have you identify the visible features of the Sun.

   Finally there will be two essay questions. In the second essay, you must describe the visible features of the Sun. You are to include information about the time scales of these features. That is, how long do they tend to last? One will have you describe , in general terms, the process of energy production in the Sun.

If you do not tell me at least twenty-four hours in advance that you will miss this test, I will not consider a request for a makeup test. The only exception, of course, would be in the case of illness or emergency.
