   Here is the Solar rotation lab as a Word 2007 document.
   Below, you see the eight images used in the lab. These were taken in August of 1999. The 27th of the month was cloudy. Click on the thumbnails below to see the full size image. You will then make measurements of the positions of the spots on that image.

The image below shows the orientation of the equator and longitude lines of the Sun on those days.
