The SETI Paper
    You must write a three page paper describing your fictional civilization and your message. This paper is due to be in my hands by the time and date of our scheduled exam. That is Tuesday, June 8 at 8:00 E.D.T. ! Your exam is scheduled to be in Keppel gym of Cranbrook.

Grading Rubric for the Written Report
• 8   Eight points for a description of the appearance of your alien creature.
• 8   Eight points for a description of the science in your message.
• 8   Eight points for a description of the biology concept in your message.
• 8   Eight points for a description of the planetary system in your message.
• 8   Eight points for a description of the math concept in your message.
• 5   Five points for your original illustration that was used to make the message.


• 5   Five points if you paper is on time.

    No paper will be accepted after 5 PM on the date of the exam, (Those turned in between 8 AM and 5 PM will receive a 5 point penalty).

The paper is worth 50 points.
