Test 5 in Planetary Astronomy

41 points    This fifth test covers minor planets and the planets Jupiter and Saturn, the material in chapters 12 and 10.

There will be 20 multiple-choice questions which will be taken from the quizzes that you have already taken.

There will be two diagrams. The first will have you identify the four Galilean moons of Jupiter. The second will be a diagram of the rings of Saturn.

Finally there will be two short essay questions. The first essay has you describe the different types of jovian moons. The second essay asks you to explain the ring systems of both Jupiter and Saturn.

If you do not tell me at least twenty-four hours in advance that you will miss this test, I will not consider a request for a makeup test. The only exception, of course, would be in the case of illness or emergency.
