Test 4 in Planetary Astronomy

42 points This fourth test covers the Moon and Mars.

There will be 20 multiple-choice questions.

There will be one diagram which will require you to identify the four terrestrial planets by their characteristics and descriptions.

Finally there will be two short essay questions, the first concerning the origins of the atmospheres of terrestrial planets, and the second essay will ask that you speculate on an expedition to the surface of Mars..

If you do not tell me at least twenty-four hours in advance that you will miss this test, I will not consider a request for a makeup test. The only exception, of course, would be in the case of illness or emergency.
