Terrestrial Planets
Your terrestrial planets may have anywhere between zero and three moons. Keep in mind that Earth's Moon is rather unique in that it is only four times smaller than Earth itself. Do other terrestrial type planets in the galaxy have smaller moons? We have no way of knowing. But if your planet is far from an asteroid belt, chances are there would be no captured moons.
The diameter should be between 3000 and 20,000 km, and your planet should rotate in something more than about 24 hours.
If your planet is too small, it will not be able to have an atmosphere.
