Earth

   Remember, Earth is one of the planets circling the Sun. When we observe our planet, we do it essentially from the inside out. One thing that is interesting to look for is our auroral displays or the northern and southern lights. More people would see the northern lights were it not for the distracting effects of light pollution. Here is what the northern and southern aurorae look like right now. Check this site regularly for any aurora alarms. And here is a nice site that give great tips for observing an auroral display.
