   The tenth anniversary.

For Northern Hemisphere observers, the bright star Vega is essentially overhead as darkness falls. For many years, Vega overhead at sunset has signaled the begining of a school year for me. This and other observations have a way of comforting us with their inevitability.
The Moon, Venus and Mars make a nice grouping right after sunset tonight in the west.
