This is the weekend of the famous Stellafane telescope makers convention. Russell Porter first organized the annual gathering early last century. Let's hope for clear skies for the hundreds of participants who will be showing off their homemade telescopes near the observatory on Breezy Hill, outside of Springfield, Vermont.
