Milk StreetThe Moon's Phase

For northern hemisphere observers, look directly overhead just after sunset. If you are so unfortunate to have just a handful of stars visible in your light-polluted sky, you will still be able to see the famous "Summer Triangle" of Deneb, Vega, and Altair. If you are blessed with truly dark skies, you will see the full glory of the Summer Milky Way revealed to you.
